In our company, the growth of deliveries in the fashion segment for 9 months was 70% compared with 2020. This figure was achieved due to two components: an equal increase in the number of new customer connections and sales from the existing customer base.


As a provider of courier delivery services, we observe the following trends in the fashion segment. First of all, a significant increase in demand for long waits for courier at the point of delivery. Stores are actively fighting for customer loyalty, allow you to order goods of your choice, even without pre-payment. More than 70% of such deliveries are closed with the status of "partial redemption".


Of course, the standard 15 minutes is not enough to try on 5-15 things. That is how many customers order on average.


The "capsule closet" sales model is gaining more popularity. Some stores develop their sites, provide consumers with a stylist, assemble an image that meets their request from goods of different brands and give the opportunity to try on during the day. It turns out that in the first delivery the courier brings a "capsule", in the second - to take away things that do not fit. With our largest client in this niche, up to 90% of orders end with the second trip courier: he picks up things that the buyer refused. In this area today there are stores in different price segments. However, so far we have not seen men's and children's "capsules", but it is obvious that this niche will develop rapidly.


Among other trends, I would like to mention the high demand for convenient and high-quality services for quick return and exchange of goods, as well as for the related segments related to the fashion category - sending clothes and shoes to dry cleaning, repairs, etc. We do not have many such clients yet, but this area of the market will also develop in the near future.


We forecast that by the end of the year the fashion segment will continue to grow faster than the market. It will amount to 25-30% to the average value of the distance sales market.


Also, we believe that the flow of demand from the niche of courier delivery to points of delivery of orders is not so great due to the convenience of trying on clothes in the comfort of the home.
